Deep Thought

I just realized that half the people you'll meet are, by definition, of less than average intelligence.

Not actually true because the people you meet are (excluding servers, cashiers, and the like) a self-selecting set determined by your peers, career, school, etc. See The Lake Wobegone Distribution.
